The McCoys Before The Feud: A Western Novel by Thomas Allan McCoy

It’s about the McCoy family during the last weeks of the Civil War and the months shortly afterwards. In volume one the story is about how they recover gold taken from the south by the north at the end of the Civil War. You can check my Amazon page for the description of each book. The series starts with the recovery and giving it back to the people of the south and hiding of the gold. Volume 2 is about trying to keep what they thought was their share and the journey home for a few of them and the perils they encountered. Volume 3 is about how they go about trying to throw the Pinkerton’s off their trail. Volume 4 is about the rest of them trying to go to a safe place where they can use and keep their gold without having the Pinkerton’s tracking them down and how the Pinkerton’s, by tracking the McCoys; provide justice by catching the thief who originally took it from the South and then hid it from the Northern Army trying to keep it for himself.
